Great Review: TaylorMade Ladies RocketBallz Driver

cheaphotgolf 2012-02-21

TaylorMade RocketBallz RBZ Driver is fitted with a lightweight Matrix XCON 5 graphite shaft which helps to increase swing speed, contributing to the impresive distance achieved by the club.

The company's tag line for their RocketBallz driver is "brace yourself" - because, apparently, you'll be simply awe struck by the extreme distance you're likely to gain. This white crown had its detractors when first introduced, but I think it's save to say that the design has proven to be effective.

The driver also uses TaylorMade's Flight Control Technology (FCT), allowing you to optimize your ball flight by selecting one of eight different settings that adjust the club head's face, loft and lie angles. According to TaylorMade, this feature allows for a range of different launch conditions that promote up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory adjustment. We love the control this technology gives golfers - if you have a tendency to slice your shots for instance, the FCT system will most certainly help.

I personally love the color of the new RocketBallz driver.  The color is the same “white” color as the R11 driver, but has accents of lime green on it.  Also, on the side of the club, the name “RocketBallz” is printed.  The club is flashy but still maintains a purpose.  The white color helps you when you are addressing the ball.  The color helps you align yourself with the shot your about to hit.  Also, the club is easier to see and align on cloudy overcast days or if your tee box is shaded.

Overall, I have always considered myself a Taylormade guy, like some of you might already know. Frankly, this Taylormade rbz Driver is truly an awesome driver. It looks great, sounds great, and produces immense power off the club face, giving you high speeds and great distance.
